Queer Wireless

In my tedious mis­sion to review Glasgow’s water­ing holes, I’ve uncov­ered a few rather choice haunts, pre­vi­ously unknown to stay-​at-​home me. Easing it’s way into the number one spot is Revolver. It has a free juke­box with pre­cisely 7, 658 songs on it. It has free broad­band, with a choice of WiFi or log­ging on to the in-​house Mac. And it’s a gay bar that wel­comes women, dyke or straight, and caters to an old crowd (in gay years, i.e. over 25) so the spikey-​haired, bare-​armed screech­ers are absent.

It looks like my long-run­ning quest to find some­where pleas­ant to drink booze while work­ing is over.
