In my tedious mission to review Glasgow’s watering holes, I’ve uncovered a few rather choice haunts, previously unknown to stay-at-home me. Easing it’s way into the number one spot is Revolver. It has a free jukebox with precisely 7, 658 songs on it. It has free broadband, with a choice of WiFi or logging on to the in-house Mac. And it’s a gay bar that welcomes women, dyke or straight, and caters to an old crowd (in gay years, i.e. over 25) so the spikey-haired, bare-armed screechers are absent.
It looks like my long-running quest to find somewhere pleasant to drink booze while working is over.
damn them for that name. although beatles rip-off, i always wanted to use it for something. like a gay bar. check your inbox ya mac fag hing oot bwoy ;)
