Actors and film-makers, aspiring or professional, might be interested in West End Story, the production site for a micro-budget DV feature film shooting in sunny Glasgow this August.

Non-thesps who don’t know a dolly grip from a dolly mixture should take a look too, of course, if only to get the inside track on what is doubtless destined to be a fine film.

Disclaimer: I knocked up the site last night, and the film’s producer/writer/all round auteur Gerard Sampaio is a friend of mine. And no, I don’t know what a dolly grip is either.
