Guerilla Tactics

The ‘coalition’ seemed to base their campaign on the assumption that ‘decapitation’ — the capture of Bagdhad and removal of Saddam Hussein — would lead to a swift and easy victory, with a grateful populace handing over their country upon liberation. Instead, the invading forces face guerilla tactics from pro-Saddam militiamen.

Now, what was that war where America was defeated by poorly-armed, fanatical locals despite it’s overwhelming military superiority and assitance from Australian troops?
