The worldwide Freecycle Network is made up of many individual groups across the globe. It’s a grassroots movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns.
The site works very simply. If you have something you’d like to give away - as long as it’s free, legal and ‘appropriate for all ages’ - send an email to your local group; if you want something, reply to the email offering it and arange a time and place to collect. Everyone’s a winner (except, perhaps, charity shops).
