From my little sister comes this news: if you’re at a loose end in Leeds this Sunday, you could do worse than head for Our Festival at The Faversham.
There’s lots and lots of DJs. Proper house music will be provided by Elliot Eastwick from out of Paper Recordings, Northern and Mod sounds from the excellent Move On Up people, and a stramash of Lord knows what from legendary bootleg monkeys the Pop Bastards.
And, this being a festival, there’s a ton of local live acts too, like Sepia Tone and Yellow Stripe Nine.
It’s only six quid in, and all the profits go to Cancer Research. Tickets are available from TicketWeb, Jumbo Records and The Faversham.
Sounds like a fun way to lose fourteen hours of your Bank Holiday weekend, no?
