Beware Search And Replace

Due to a careless click on a button marked ‘Replace,’ the Submit Response archives are in a bit of a state. Entries that link to or contain images are most likely to have been affected, so if you see a missing image, or some oddly mangled text, please do drop me a line.

Although this little disaster was my fault, it might be nice if Movable Type required confirmation before excecuting a major site-wide change like this one. Tweaking the user interface wasn’t enough to save an idiot like myself from cocking up.

Update: Most images are now restored, but in the process of importing entries from the last back-up I discovered that the free hosting account where this site used to live has been deleted without warning, so a few images I failed to transfer to this server will have to be hunted down on old computers and CDs. Thought for the day: Portland are a shower of complete bastards who couldn’t host a coffee morning.
