Tramway Update

Lucy Gibson of EmergeD has put together a site to keep track of the various protests and petitions against the proposal to hand Tramway 2 to the Scottish Ballet for rehearsal and office space. As Leon pointed out earlier, this is a misguided move

For the time being, the SOS : Tramway site can be found here, but I’ve just bought the sostramway.org.uk domain, which should go live in a day or two. If you maintain a site or keep a weblog, everyone trying to save the Tramway 2 exhibition space would be grateful if you could link to the new domain, with the link text Tramway, so as to bump us up the Google rankings - I’ll update this post once the domain is operational.

In the meantime, you can keep track of the campaign by subscribing to the Tramway mailing list . If you feel like campaigning against the proposal yourself, the site features a poster to download and distribute, a petition to sign and a list of names and addresses to write to registering your protest.
