Introducing Myself
Hello to the Submit Response Readership. My name is Donovan. Jack and Leon have granted me posting rights on this fine digital organ. Thought I’d begin by sharing what I’ve been mostly browsing of late. Massachusetts Institute of Technology have decided to put a vast number of their courses online, complete with course notes and the occassional digital book. Could MIT OpenCourseWare mean the end of student loans and the dreaded tuition fees (for non-Scottish readers)?
Also intriguing me at the moment is the list of the Top 500 Supercomputers. Search for “UK” on the page and marvel at the supercomputer budgets of the Atomic Weapons Establishment and the acronymic CLRC which seems to be based in Warrington of all places.
Also worth a daily browse is Ars Technica and of course the progress of my Fantasy Football team.

Welcome Donny!
I’m something of an Ars Technica fan myself - their big head-to-head reviews are generally fantastic in terms of in-depthiness.
Looking forward to future postings… esepecially anything to do with underground bunkers!
I shall now away and change the About page to reflect the changes to the editorial board.

Hello Donovan. I come here and talk shite. Sometimes I make sense. Mainly I drivel. Just ignore me.

Oh, and I reassigned yr post to an existing category Don - for various boring reasons stuff’ll get mucked up if new ones are added.
I’ve been meaning to add a few new categories anyway, so I’ll get to that when doing the imminnent redesign (yeah, I know I said I wouldn’t do that for a year, but…) and add Technology to the list…

What a welcoming community of people! Hello everyone, hope you don’t find my postings too geeky. My main objective will be to reveal that computers can be used for some pretty spooky things.
