What’s a Soksok?

Well, this is spooky. Ben Ham­mer­sly reports that a Japan­ese site is host­ing live mir­rors of var­i­ous weblogs, includ­ing his own, with all the meta­data stripped out and some links rewrit­ten to point to porn.

And what do you know, Submit Response is avail­able for view­ing in it’s entirety at http://​pack.​sok​sok.​jp/​y​/​.​c​l​p8/mt/.

I don’t quite under­stand why anyone would do this, unless it’s a rather pecu­liar method of tweak­ing Google in the sok​sok.jp domain’s favour, but I’m not exactly com­fort­able with our wit­ter­ings being used to drive traf­fic toward Japan­ese porno websites.
