Is Salam Pax Real?

There’s a big fuss about whether Salam Pax, the pseudonymous author of Where is Raed?, is posting from inside Iraq or not. The answer, after some rather flimsy research, is ‘probably.’

I’ve been reading the site for a couple of weeks, and am pretty sure it’s genuine, but only from little things like his assertion, contrary to BBC reports at the time, that state radio stations in Iraq are still broadcasting. I’m certainly not looking forward to the day he (inevitably?) stops posting, but then a lot of people said the same of Kaycee Nicole.

I really do hope he is real and still alive and well. Great description and excellent lively ” writing”..
Wld love to have his email address to be able to write him..Does anyone have it??
