BBC News: Music labels wins net piracy case

Good­bye to pri­vacy for Amer­i­can inter­net users.

Inter­est­ing to note that the BBC trot out the record label line that file­shar­ing is behind the drop in music sales, despite the fact that there is absolutely no proof that this is the case, and some evi­dence that the oppo­site is true.

In related news: you can get a legal down­load fix on the 21st of March, thanks to Euro­pean Dig­i­tal Down­load Day. By the look of the site, that may well be 21st March 1997.
