Webloggers of the Left, unite!

James Crabtree points out the political imbalance on the blog end of the internet created by frothing lunatics on the Right. The American Right, that is, so not nice at all (see Instapundit and Andrew Sullivan.)

The piece is being flagged up as some sort of call to arms, which it isn’t, but it does seem significant that there are no Leftist equivalents to the above quoted blogs (possibly because there is no Left as a European would understand it in America.) Crabtree’s asides are interesting, particularly when he applies Quine’s coherence theory of truth to the way memes coagulate on the web. Y’know, totally like the drying blood of innocent Iraqi civilians in the desert sand.
