Dead or alive?

1. CNN reports that Bin Laden is most likely dead
2. UPI have details of a forth­com­ing attack and video message

It mat­ters not a jot which is true, as far as i can tell. Bin Laden is pretty much irrel­e­vant, since the US is lining up Saddam Hus­sain as prime axis of evil bogey­man, and the goals of the so called ‘War Against Terror’ are so neb­u­lous that any notional fig­ure­head can be plucked from the ether as a focus for public and press atten­tion while mil­i­tary oper­a­tions con­tinue apace against what­ever state per­ceived as a threat to democracy/oil interests/etc.
