Today’s Links (30/11/04)
- Nokia Collector
A file transfer and sync utility for Nokia phones/Bluetooth devices and OS X. It doesn’t work with the (my?) 7610, though, so I can’t tell if it’s a solution to the lack of iSync support (it’s not clear if it’s limited to media files or includes vCards, calendar items, etc.) - Sleep paralysis | Metafilter
- GQ : FEATURES : GENERAL
Assorted celebrities share their memorable Prince experiences. (I do that a lot, much to the annoyance of everyone I know, no doubt) - 2Entwine | FotoBuzz Viewlet
Flickr-style Flash image notation for the masses, released under a CC license. Very slick. - New Netscape embraces Firefox, IE | CNET News.com
Interesting - I wonder whether folk will only use IE mode when absolutely necessary, or stick to it all the time falsely assuming they’re getting the benefits of Mozilla? - Help available for ‘drunken diallers’
Genius mobile service that lets you block dialling certain numbers while boozing it up. Chillingly, the number I’d need to block would be the quasi-legal 24hr Dial-a-Booze. - iriver Global Home
Submit bug-reports on the new iRiver website to win a mystery future iRiver device. It’s a hellish soup of shady HTML, Flash and unwieldy JavaScript, but I don’t think that’s the sort of bug they’re after. - Top of the Pops leaves BBC One
TOTP is committing slow suicide before our very eyes. Rather sad. - Ginsberg’s Celestial Homework
Specialized Reading List for “Literary History of the Beat Generation,” a course taught by Allen Ginsberg at Naropa Institute during the summer of 1977. - Podcasting takes off
- Jack Tools 0.51
“Jack Tools is an OS X implementation of Jack, and it installs everything necessary to take full advantage of Jack on OS X”

I had an attck of sleep paralysis the other night for the first time in ages. I actually dreamt I was having it too, which seemed weird. I woke up with a dead arm and a cat on my head. Better than a dead cat and an arm on my head…

I’ve never suffered from it, but imagine a cat on the head would probably do the trick in my case!
