With Friends Like Rumsfeld…

While Blair expends all his energies persuading the British public that this war is, you know, just, Rumsfeld seems to think that the practical assistance from the UK won’t be needed in the forthcoming conflict.

So, to recap: the US doesn’t want or need the support of the UK, and the majority of the British public don’t wish to support the US action without UN authorisation, ergo our government is unequivocally supporting the US. There’s something not quite right there…
