How confusing is stuff?

I’m glad I’m not in the business of running music venues. Having just tried to untangle the history of The 13th Note and the current status of the two venues, I’m on the verge of having a seizure. I didn’t become an arts journalist hack to, you know, ask questions and do research. Suffice to say, i’ll probably end up pissing off both The 13th Note and the new owners of the Club, Barfly, which would be ‘ironic’ seeing as they’re both prospective employers of the mighty Submit Response discjockeysoundsystem.

Also, i really like the way this animated .gif of frames 223 and224 of the Zapruder film looks. Mainly because it’s meant to disprove the ‘single bullet’ theory posited by the Warren Commission, but is just a pretty abstract blur.

Look! Govenor Connally's lapel is flapping because a bullet just went through him! But Kennedy isn't shot until frame 255! Wow!

I would link to a thousand and one JFK assasination sites, but we all know he ordered his own killing in order to go out in a blaze of glory, because the symptoms of the Addison’s Disease that gave him that lovely golden tan would soon make it impossible for him to carry out presidential duties.

And how have i not noticed Arts & Letters Daily before? Their motto, Veritas Odit Moras (Truth Abhors Delay - er, probably, it’s been a while) is a good one. And this archive of Movie Titles [via The Morning News] is frighteningly addictive, even if none of the first ten or so films i looked for are included.
