On Cnut

apologies to those on the b3ta mailing list (and, come to think of it, apologies for being on the b3ta mailing list) but the kazoo and jew’s harp cover of zombie nation’s popular hit kernkraft 400 they’re plugging just now is available at Si’s Tunes. brilliantly irritating.

also, last night dave from cnut gave me their latest album, prince of shampoo, and the next one as well. both are, with only a smidgin of hyperbole, works of absolute genius. file in the section of your collection devoted to music that makes you laugh but avoids being mere novelty by dint of the fact that it is fucking superb (i.e. nestle the disc somewhere between bongwater and zappa, frank)

fascinating information: signed up for blogsnob, seeing as all our referrals are people looking for “www.goldenshower.com” or “now+that’s+what+i+call+music” and i though it might be nice if some people came here and read what we have written. oh, and you can save all that time wasted reading blogs by checking blogdex to see what everyone (including us) has been writing about.
