okay, so while we’re in the process of turning this board into a pedant’s forum, i have a question for the kids [and the old people]: what, in the name of the good lord smallweed does the phrase “blame culture” mean? it’s one of these things, like step-changes and keynotes, that is bandied about by all and sundry in the meedja, and seems to mean absolutely nothing.
why do i ask this? well, [shock of the day] there’s another report that says the metropolitan police might, um, y’know, just be a wee bit, well, racist, your honour. so tell us summat we didn’t know…
quick bit of bitching from my workmate neil, about a local restaurant: “well i’m not going there. did you see the fucking salad? it had bits of sweetcorn in it!”
okay, maybe you had to be there.
