Hello Anil - I'm pondering switching to WordPress at the moment because I've had some nasty server migration hassles which mean I'll have to fully reinstall Movable Type soon, so I thought I'd see if WordPress might suit me better (that five minute install is a draw).

It's less to do with Movable Type not meeting my needs, more that I fancy a change and the opportunity to tinker with a CMS I'm not familiar with. The one thing most likely to sway me is comment spam, which, by the looks of things, WP with various plugins handles better than MT with MTBlacklist.

So, yeah, I might well switch, if I can find the time to tinker with WP until I get the site pretty much identical to the way it is now, and if I can find out for sure that the anti-spam stuff is better with WP; but, more likely, I'll stick with MT due to a combination of inertia and loyalty (I've been using MT since I switched from Blogger in 2002, so have warm feelings toward it.)

(Also, if you don't mind me asking, do you often swoop down on potential switchers? Conjours an image of you in superhero garb, presumably in complementary shades of purple!)
