Thats SMTP, not SMPT (it stands for Simple Mail transfer Protocol)

Aye, text is working (hilarious Catch 22 - I needed a SIM update to enable SMS, but I couldn't get it because my SIM was full, but I needed the SIM update to delete old messages...)

The tech support are awful. I now have email set up, but only after three folk incorrectly told me I needed to sign up with a dialup ISP first... MMS doesn't work at present, and I'm still trying to dialup to the interweb via Bluetooth (so I can sit in Tchai Ovna working and piss off the hippies!)

erk. that sounds a bit shit. I was just thinking of phoning orange, too. I'll see if i can get the upgrade first, shall I? Before I start tinkering.

Oh and is yr text working? Talk geek tomorrow or something.
