I admired Gaby Rado's reports, and found him an attractive journalist to watch and listen to. It's strange that he should be born into an uprising (the Hungarian one) and die in another.

Poor Gaby. I'm sorry. I'll miss him. My sympathies to his family.

did he fall or was he pushed? independent journalists can uncover truths those in power would rather remain hidden! its just a question, but remember the first casualty of war is truth!

I wondered that too. It seems unlikely, and a shame, that someone used to dodging bombs and bullets should meet their end by falling over...

bit late, but he was apparently on anti-depressants. baghdad maybe not a good place to be if at a loss with the world even before the war. so did he jump?
