Also why the hotels and self cater­ing estab­lish­ments want more for a summer week than a hol­i­day in Europe with air fares included. Check Isle of Wight South­ern Vectis Buses who charge £30 for a one week bus pass when the whole of the London area is only £8.50 and has far more buses which oper­ate all day and all night. Train fares which appear cheap on paper but which treble in real­ity. Thats why people, espe­cially those with­out cars go abroad and can’t afford to stay in Britain.
